Author: Kamakshi Gupte

I am Kamakshi Gupte, a writer, dreamer, teacher, mother, wife and a Counselling Psychologist. I am also an NLP Therapist- Neuro Linguistic Programming (Richard Bandlers’certificate) and a Graphoanalyst. What I love most is parenting, as this is one role where we err as humans and we need to learn, unlearn and re-learn new ways of being a cool parent. It was an epic shift for me, as I quit a banking career and essayed the role of a parent. I admit, I have also attempted to cut my toddlers’ hair as going to the salon was a phobic feat. So as I changed from being a banker to a barber, I learnt that the challenge to be a good parent is endless. The joy too grows in multitude as we nurture our children. I often wonder, if good parenting ever existed and I am not sure yet. Perhaps the only way to be a good parent is to be a ‘cool’ parent. I present the thecoolparentingguide – a blog that expresses the various stages and situations a child and parent can possibly be in. A few tips learnt via therapies in counselling and also effective communication tips are included and hope you will find it useful. So, cool parenting to you!!! If you are looking for counselling psychologist in mumbai feel free to write to me at kamakshi.gupte@gmail.com or call on 9820646229/28938155
