Wondering how to calm yourself during stressful times especially provoked by external stimuli? Thinking how to calm children when they feel anxious? Feeling #anxious is a natural response to any challenging situation.
And #grounding is a powerful way to bring calm as and when you feel #anxious… With practice it amplifies the peace within you and gives you the confidence.
Most of my clients learn it as part of the counselling session. If learnt early, all you need to do is reclaim this!
I tried the #butterflytapping along with #positiveaffirmations with my students in #storytellingclass and they imbibed it beautifully.
#movement is a part of #earlyears and the grounding via movement exercises were simply loved by #children.
1.Butterfly tapping
Make a butterfly with both the palms towards you. Place it on your chest and keep gently tapping. Once you are comfortable you can gently breathe along with this to get the added benefit. Restores calm and confidence.
2. Movement
Do light stretching.
Push your feet into the ground and notice the pressure.
Use your thumb or toe to draw an infinity sign.
Draw bubbles in the air and imagine blowing them.
